Questions about the free generator
- Is the Privacy Policy generator really free?
- Yes. It isn't a trial, and there is no paywall or signup step before you see the result. To keep it available for everyone, generation is limited to 20 requests per hour per IP address, with a shared daily cap.
- Do I need an account or an email address?
- No. You don't sign in, and the full policy appears on the generator page instead of being sent to you by email.
- Can I use it for a business in Spain (AEPD)?
- Yes. Choose Spain: the policy is drafted under the GDPR and Spain's LOPDGDD, includes the right to lodge a complaint with the AEPD (the Spanish data-protection authority), and carries an identity block with your NIF/CIF.
- What isn't included for free?
- The free generator gives you the text to copy; it does not keep a copy for you. The subprocessor registry, the data-request inbox, DPA countersignature and law updates are part of the paid dashboard.
- Is this legal advice?
- No. It is only as accurate as the information you provided: you are responsible for ensuring your answers are truthful and that this document reflects how your business actually collects and uses data. It is not individualised legal advice. Having a lawyer review it is optional, not required.
